I have built a AEM Screens project, and on one of the pages I built a component that uses the webcam to display its captured video. If I view the project under my local AEM environment, the browser asks me for permission to use the camera and after I accept, it displays the webcam video. I want to use this functionality also in the AEM Screens app, but here I do not get the pop-up message which asks me if I allow the usage of the camera and it does not work.
Is there any way to use my webcam in the AEM Screens app?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

This actually might differ from player to player. The ChromeOS player might support it but not on the the MacOS
Also, when you mentions on the browser, does you mean running the pseudo screen player in the browser? Or html page in the browser?

By "in the browser", I mean that I opened the html page in a browser (Chrome), and that works fine.
When I use the AEM Screens app to test it, then it does not even turn on the web camera. I am using my Macbook for testing, on which I installed the AEM Screens app (I tried it also on my Android phone but the app did not work on my phone at all).
Thanks
