Is groovy script works in AEM cloud

We are currently using AEM 6.5 and planning to migrate to AEM Cloud. We have a lot of  number of Groovy scripts in AEM 6.5 and we would like to know if these Groovy scripts will work in AEM Cloud. Is the Groovy Console compatible with AEM Cloud?

@mario248 Yes it is. I have tested version 17.0.0 working perfectly with AEM as cloud service.

    @mario248 Yes it is. I have tested version 17.0.0 working perfectly with AEM as cloud service.

      My observation is that many customers use it, but it is not officially supported by Adobe.

      (Also I want to point out, that the official Groovy release notes for Groovy 5.0 mention, that it was tested with Java 20. No mentioning of Java 21 or any later version.)
