Installing Geometrixx Sample App

Avatar

Not applicable

I am using an instance of AEM that is installed in the corporate cloud. The Geometrixx sample application doesn't seem to be available.

Can someone please provide me with step-by-step instructions on getting it installed and running?  I'm brand new to AEM, so would need pretty specific steps. I can't find anything on these forums or via Google that has helped.

Thanks, Gary

You should be able to install them via package share - see this documentation:

https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/administering/package_manager/package-share.html#Access to Package Share

Once you get to Package Share - search on Geometrixx.

Download and install via package manager-

https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/administering/package_manager.html#Viewing Package Contents and Testing Installation

Hope this helps

Gary,

What version of AEM are you using. When you bring up AEM it is be default you should see the AEM sample geometrrix content. Hope you didn't install it with the nosamplecontent mode. See: https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/security/production-ready.html

Hi,

Tried following your solution, but the package share is not opening even after signing in.
