html5smartimage not rendering in dialog when dialog is reopened

In the dialog when an image is dragged and dropped into the dialog tab, the image is rendered in the dialog. If saved and the dialog is reopened, the image is there, but appears as white space. The image renders correctly on the html page. This is happening no matter what image I use.

I am not seeing that behavior - i tested with a dialog with a html5smartimage. It displays fine in the dialog - as shown here:

Can you please post 2 screen shots of this behavior.  Show 1 shot that shows the proper way and the other one that shows the issue.
