How to monitor and check success for daily maintenance job in AEM cloud

Hi All,

I am trying to configure the daily maintenance job for workflow purge and as part of which I have added the node in the /apps/settings/granite/operations/maintenance/granite_daily/granite_WorkflowPurgeTask folder as described here

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/operations/maintena...

In my local I am able to access the maintenance page and run the workflow or check the status of previously ran maintenance job at the url http://localhost:4502/libs/granite/operations/content/maintenanceWindow.html/apps/settings/granite/o...

But on the cloud instance I am able to access this page as per this documentation (AEM 6.5 not sure if it is valid for cloud version) to access the page I would be required to be added to the Operator user group

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/administering/operations/operations-da...

Is log the only way to monitor or there is any other convenient way?

Thanks,

Shehjad

Currently the maintenance tasks can't be monitored similar to the Operations dashboard in previous AEM versions. It's possible that these could be surfaced in the future either on the Developer console or Cloud Manager UI.

Also, You shouldn't be worried about the purge tasks(audit, workflow) as the platform is maintained by Adobe.

If there is business need for this maintenance tasks, you can connect with AEM Support or youn CSME who can help provide such details.

Hi @shehjadk07

Operations Dashboard is not supported in AEM cloud. So you need to integrate AEM as Cloud with SPLUNK.

Below link provides the details about the integration process:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/develo...

Please note: If you are working on a Sandbox program environment, this functionality is not supproted.

Thanks!
