How to access DAM Assets inside Target?

Hi - My customer has got an AEM Assets as Cloud Service with Dynamic Media setup. They would like to use DAM as the single source of truth for assets and would like to access these assets inside Target and AJO. We figured out the AJO part but I could not find any documentation on how to link the DAM and Target. How are they supposed to access these assets inside Target for personalisation?
