granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/select reordering in dialog after save

I tried to remove the ordered property for granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/select in one of the components but the order of the values is still being rearranged based on the value selected which is the numbering order in the dialog but the jcr:content persists in the authored order. Is there any way to keep the order as how we authored for select?
