External foundation component - Safari browser issue

Hello All,

I am currently using the External application integration foundation component (Foundation Components ) in an AEM site inorder to load content from an external URL into an iFrame.

This works as expected in all browsers except Safari. There are two types of issues occurring for Safari users:

1) Cross origin issue, wherein Safari blocks a frame from one origin from accessing a frame from another origin.

2) In some cases, the target URL within the iFrame is appended with an extra blank space, causing the Safari browser to search for a URL with a %20. This results in a 404 error.

None of these issues occur in any other browser. But I am unable to ascertain why this is occurring within Safari.

Has anyone faced similar issues? Is there some additional configuration that I need to keep in mind?

Thanks in advance!
