Extending Tab Component with Icon for Mobile view

Hi All AEM Community! 

 

We tackling a new project and bringing them over to Adobe Family using AEM 6.5. The customer currently has beautiful tab solution build with custom that displays icons on mobile to make more responsive than saying on mobile "Shareholder Information" for example and this also adding the benefits of customers reading image quicker than text with whole move to iconography in web design. 

 

I see the option on AEM Forms, but nothing on AEM Core 😒 ! Anyone else found any good way to be responsive on tabs as going completely custom feels like as step back in dark ages and not AEM way of working.

This sounds like a custom CSS and JS work. You can use your front-end skills to implement a tabbing experience like what you have said.
