Exporting Experience fragments to Adobe target

Avatar

Level 3

Hi,

We have created an Experience fragment with a custom component in it, and created variations for the same.

(XF - master,v1,v2).

issue1:

We are trying to export the same to Adobe target and we are able to export it successfully.

When we try using the same on target page, if we use master XF alone on the page, we could see doubled master results on the page. if we use variation on the page, we could see 1 master result and 1 variation results on the page. is it a known issue? and how can we get only selected variation/master results on the page? (single results).

issue2:

When we use exported experience fragment master/variation on target page, we could not see the expected results.(Some values are missing/not being displayed as it is displayed on AEM page) like some of the values of the component(used inside exported XF) are missing here on the page. what might be the issue here? how/what can we do to show all the values as it is on normal AEM page?

FYI,

If we use the same component or same Experience fragment on normal AEM page, we could see all the expected results.

But in target, if we use an exported experience fragment with the same component on a target page, we could not see the results as expected.(some values are missing)

Please help us to resolve this issue.
Thanks in Advance.!

Hi @Aj_9625932

For issue 1: Check if you have added the experience fragment twice. Navigating through different divs in Adobe Target is tough - so you might create a new experience and author it again.

issue 2: Can you shed more light on what these values are and how are they rendering fine in AEM and not in Target?

Thanks,

Kiran Vedantam.
