error on use $.validator.register function

Hello,

I am facing some problems to put validation on a cq:dialog.

I have created an aechive to put my validations, but on beginning of my code, on  $.validator.register({

I am having the following error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'register' of undefined.

It seems that are some foundation dependency, but I don't know which one, and I have downloaded the foundation package, and I created the foundation archives on my clientlibs. I don't know what am I missing

I would be glad with some help,
