Error in logs:: No design at /etc/designs. Using default

I am seeing this Error in logs:: No design at /etc/designs. Using default. If the designs are there in the location, I don't see the error, but as this is 6.5 I should not be seeing this error ideally. Any help in resolving the error @kautuk_sahni @arunpatidar

AEM Version: 6.5.15

Can you please check your page resourcetype? Maybe the page type is old foundation page instead of wcm type.

Do you see the same error if page resourcetype is core components?

The page is created using core components page V2. I am still seeing the issue here.

Can you access /etc/designs from your local machine, author, publisher? Are you referring to dispatcher? Maybe the dispatcher have a limited restriction for accessing the path /etc/designs... or maybe the everyone user does not have permission to this resource path?
