Hi All,
My question is in two parts :
Part 1 : is there a need of container like docker or kubernetes if we choose to go for AEMaaCS ?
Part 2 : if yes , does the AEMaaCS supports / allows such container based implementation on AEMaaCS ?
Regards
Shailesh

Hi @ShaileshPa ,
Part 1: In the case of Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), there is no need for you to manage or deploy containers like Docker or Kubernetes yourself. AEMaaCS is a fully managed service provided by Adobe, where Adobe takes care of the underlying infrastructure, including containerization and orchestration. You can focus on developing and managing your AEM applications without the need to worry about containerization.
Part 2: While AEMaaCS abstracts away the need for you to manage containers directly, it does utilize containerization and orchestration technologies behind the scenes to provide a scalable and flexible cloud service. Adobe manages the containerization and orchestration aspects of AEMaaCS, allowing you to focus on developing and managing your AEM applications.
It's important to note that AEMaaCS is a cloud-native implementation of AEM, designed to leverage cloud technologies and best practices. While you don't have direct access to the underlying containers or orchestration tools, Adobe ensures that AEMaaCS is built on a scalable and reliable infrastructure.
If you have specific requirements or questions about the technical implementation of AEMaaCS, it's recommended to reach out to Adobe Support or consult the official Adobe documentation for the most up-to-date information.
AEMaaCS (Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service) does not require direct integration with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker. As a fully managed cloud service, Adobe handles the underlying infrastructure, including containerization and orchestration, behind the scenes.
There is an earlier question answered here
Part 1 : is there a need of container like docker or kubernetes if we choose to go for AEMaaCS ?
NO. If you choose AEMaaCS you don't need to manage your own container infrastructure like Docker or Kubernetes. This is because AEMaaCS is designed as a fully managed cloud service provided by Adobe. Adobe will take care of all this for you, infrastructure management, including deployment, scaling, and maintenance of AEM instances. So you're good!
Part 2 : if yes , does the AEMaaCS supports / allows such container based implementation on AEMaaCS?
The answer is no. Because Adobe does it all for you. It's the Cloud Service! Best in class!
