Dispatcher vanity URL on IIS

We are having issues getting the Vanity URL's dispatcher configuration on the IIS webserver. Is there any documentation besides the below link on the IIS vanity URL configuration?

I am trying to find the vanity URL dispatcher paths for IIS. In the documentation, I can see only Linux paths - I don't know if it's even supported on IIS.

After adding modify permissions to the IIS application pool account, the dispatcher is working as expected.
