Hi Team,

I has installed 'AEM Modernize Tools' into my local and the core bundle is showing below errors,

1. com.day.cq.search,version=[1.5,2) -- Cannot be resolved

2. org.apache.sling.api.wrappers,version=[2.7,3) -- Cannot be resolved

AEM version - 6.5

Service pack - 6.5.17

AEM Modernize tool - 2.1.0

Core component : 2.23.4

maven version : 3.8.6

Kindly share you valuable ideas towards resolution.

Hi,

Strange, I created a vanilla AEM 6.5, then installed SP17, and finally installed the Modernizer tool from here: https://github.com/adobe/aem-modernize-tools/releases/. Everything works fine. Are you sure you're using the correct version of the AEM Modernizer tools? What I noticed is that my AEM Modernizer tool doesn't seem to expect the same dependencies you're encountering issues with. Please see below:

Thanks for your reply @estebanbustamante. Issue was resolved after installing 'aem-modernize-tools.all-2.1.0-java8aem65.zip'.

Hi,

How did you install the Modernize tool? Did you follow the steps from here: https://opensource.adobe.com/aem-modernize-tools/pages/plan-operate/set-up.html? I just downloaded the package from here: https://github.com/adobe/aem-modernize-tools/releases/ and installed it in AEM 6.5.16 and everything seems to be ok. Can you try to install the package once?

Hope this helps

Hi @estebanbustamante ,

Thanks for the suggestion, I directly downloaded the package and installed on a plain vanilla instance with service pack 17. Had not added any dependencies to the pom.

Kindly suggest me with the further steps.
