Custom jcr property for component

Along with the existing jcr property for the component like  componentGroup, jcr:description, allowedParents etc in \apps folder, we have defined few custom property. Those additional custom jcr property does not show up after we drag the component to the page. i.e additional custom jcr property missing in the \content folder.

Please let me know whether jcr property of the component can be copied to the content. If yes, please share the steps.
