Currency fields not keeping formatting when form goes to adobe sign

I read that I needed to format my fields in adobe sign instead of adobe acrobat dc. So I tried that and now I can't retrieve the updated form as fillable out of adobe sign. Is there a way to keep the integrity of the formatting with switching between the programs?

Also, best way to date sign a document when doing an electronic signature?
