Creating site map for existing architecture

I have joined an organisation that are running a website serving product information and an ecommerce section for direct sales.

Many pages have been added or removed and there is no history of changes.

Is there anyway to generate a sitemap of the blueprint?

Thanks @gordoc2020 . For Latest AEM 6.5 version there is Sitemap feature inbuild with the core components. Please find the details on how to configure the same here https://aemsimplifiedbynikhil.wordpress.com/2021/12/01/apache-sling-sitemap-for-aem-6-5-11-and-aemaacs/

Incase it is needed for AEM As Cloud , you can check https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/sites/seo/sitemaps.html?lang=en

Thanks

Hi @gordoc2020

Yes, you can generate a sitemap for your AEM website by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your AEM instance and navigate to the Site Administration console.
  2. Select the site you want to generate a sitemap for.
  3. Click on the Sitemap tab and then click on Create Sitemap.
  4. Choose the options for your sitemap, such as including/excluding certain pages or file types.
  5. Click on Create Sitemap to generate the sitemap file.
  6. Once the sitemap is generated, you can view and download it from the Sitemap tab.

Additionally, you can also use third-party tools such as XML Sitemap Generator or Sitemap Writer Pro to create and manage your sitemap for your AEM website. These tools can help you automate the process of creating and updating your sitemap, as well as provide additional features such as submitting your sitemap to search engines.
