Content fragment Navigation customization

Hello,

I would want to customize my Adobe experience manager console navigation pane. My aim is to reduce the number of steps for creating a content, At present I'm using 4 different steps to create my content. Is there a way to have a shortcut where I can add the content in a single step?

I think we have to follow the standard steps only for creating content.
