@rajalakshmigopinathan is it an adaptive form inside a site page or a dropdown in sites?

    Is it possible to consume api response and show in the dropdown of an Adaptive form inside a Site Page in AEM?

      Yes, you can create a core-components based Adaptive Form within a Sites page, and populate the dropdown using an API response.
