I am working with List component and would like to remove the "max items" field from the dialog - since we won't be using it. If I remove it in CRX, it is still being populated by the resourceSuperType. How can I turn this field off?

    You could use Sling Resource Merger property "sling:hideResource"

                   Try to use sling resource merger and hide those properties.
