Component creation in cq5

When i am creating component allowed children and parents path witch purpose we give and when can explain ?

Hi Surendar,

Allowed Parents path is mapped to a component which can be a parent component (extends).

Allowed Children path is mapped to a component which can act as a child for the current component.
