I want to know if there is any change / modification in Clustering in AEM 6.1. Any reference or document will be of great help.

For clustering from AEM 6.x versions, you need to use MongoMK. refer [1] for the recommended deployments

6.1 docs updates are still happening. You can raise a support ticket for the same

In AEM 6.1, you also get the Cold standby option with TarMK. If you are looking for high performance with a standby failover option then you can go with coldstanby with TarMK.
