Cloud manager and AEMaaCS: more granular deployment permissions

Hi,

we would like to be able to assign permissions to different groups of users so that they can only trigger release pipelines for specific environments. For example:

• Developers can only release to DEV and QA environments
• QAs can only release to QA environment
• Release Managers can release to DEV, QA, and STAGE/PROD

As of now, there is only the role of Release Manager, which gives you permission to deploy to any environment.

Hi Daniel,

As of now, CM currently defines four roles for users which govern the availability of specific features:

• Business Owner
• Program Manager
• Deployment Manager
• Developer

And each of the roles have specific permissions, preconfigured tasks, or permissions, associated with each role. You can check the following documentation links for more details on this:
