Carousel not working in SPA project with angular and AEM 6.5

I'm trying to reuse carousel core component in our SPA project, but while authoring when I click on Add button it does nothing. Its working fine well with non-SPA project. I tried the fixes mentioned in below github hub issues also, but its not working as expected.
