Yes - displaying badge (or not) is an option on each component. And scoring/badging rules can be placed on individual components also, please see Scoring and Badges Essentials

Hi Bertrand,

I tried implementing the badges in forum component, and followed steps mentioned in the Adobe docs. I am getting below error. but I am granted read access to every users to etc directory. Do you have any idea how to resolve this error?

*WARN* [Thread-9] com.adobe.cq.social.badging.impl.BadgingEventListener Can not read resource at /etc/community/badging/rules/comments-scoring.

*ERROR* [Thread-9] com.adobe.cq.social.badging.impl.BadgingEventListener Can't read badging rule resource /etc/community/badging/rules/comments-scoring.

Thanks!

Rashid
