Hi, my team is using AEM as a DAM and we are creating renditions with AEM. The issue that we have is that when images are over a certain aspect ratio, we get a blurry output.
We have defined several thumbnail sizes for the system to create, but if we have images that are an aspect ratio of 1:3 or higher, we get blurry results.
Some of our images are 1:12 or even 1:20 aspect ratio since we are showing some of our assets like very long web pages.
Our assets drastically range in size, and we are not wanting to create a bunch more rendition sizes, since it will slow down our system. I’m wondering if there are any plugins or frameworks that we can use to help create renditions that won’t become blurry after they his a certain aspect ration.
