Best way to restrict move action on assets to a particular folder in AEM DAM

Hi all,

 

I want to restrict movement of assets to a particular folder in DAM by a particular group.

What will be the best way to do so?

@aem_noob 

We we grant:

- write access only to the src and specific target folder

-read to other folders.

The move would not be allowed, except for that specific target.

    Hi @aem_noob 
    You can deny write permission for a specific group on specific folder to avoid move operation.

      Hi @aem_noob 

      This you can achieve by using Closed User Group capability of AEM.

      Give required permissions to the group and make authors member of that group.
