and the various trainng videos say that there is an out of the box site call we.retail and on the author is an out of the box "default" replication agent setup.
My install has neither, for an unknown reason. I tried to setup wknd site and also replication to the publisher, but no luck. Any suggestions appreciated.
I have the author and publisher setup as per instructions by renameing them and putting them into author/publish dirs on 4502 and 4503.
As the author was missing the test site, I tried to build it from here, but it wont build due to this error:
So I imported the pre-built zip using ctx manager, and now I see a site in author called "WKND Site". I cant find its URL.
Looking here: http://localhost:4502/miscadmin#/etc/replication/agents.author
There were no agents, but the docs say that "out of the box" there should be a default agent.
So I created a new "Replication Agent" with http://localhost:4503/bin/receive?slinkg:authRequestLogin=1 and enabled=true, user and password to "admin". I also checked "On Modification" and "On Distribute" triggers.
When I hit "test connection" I get "Replication test succeeded"
Now I go to the sites view on author, select the "WKND Site" root and hit "quick publish" I get "Error: Replication triggered, but no agent found! for path /content/wknd"
Anyone know a) what I need to do to complete the setup b) if there are any guides for this (other than the ones which say this works out of the box without setup required)
