Asset properties Custom

Hi All,

Like we have properties for pages and we can add custon properties aswell through page component, but for asset if we want to add any new cucstom property how to do that?

@Keerthi0555 : This can be done by updating asset metadata schema. For a custom property, you will have to add a new property. You can refer these links to get step by step process -

Hi @Keerthi0555 ,

You can add a custom property in the asset post processor (Process step) if you are on AEM as a cloud or/and via a workflow process step which needs to be integrated with the DAM update asset workflow if you are on premise. To view that property you will have to add it via a Metadata schema - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/manage/me...
