Can we have Asset Insights Configuration work standalone with Analytics, without using DTM or Adobe Launch.

Also how to check if the call is going out from AEM to Adobe Analytics.

Yes, you'd need to configure Cloud Services in AEM. You could also go via API route w/o using DTM & Adobe I/O
