An issue with the ACS AEM Commons Report Builder's Select Parameter

Where selecting a dropdown value doesn't update as expected. This problem has been reported by other users as well. Specifically, when attempting to choose an option from the dropdown, the selection remains on the initial value and doesn't reflect the user's choice. How to resolve the issue mentioned in below screenshot??

Hi @madishettysr ,

Could you please confirm which AEM instance and version you're facing this issue on?
Also, if you could please provide the next steps to help me reproduce the issue at my end in an OOTB instance and verify the same if it's a bug or not?

    Hi @monalikakapoor the AEM sdk version is AEM SDK for AEM v2025.2.19586.20250218T200657Z-250100

    Steps to reproduce the issue

    Hit the page http://localhost:portnumber/var/acs-commons/reports/sample-page-report.html?wcmmode=disabled and try to select any value from the dropdown name order, we are unable to see the selected value as shown in below screen shot:

    Hi @madishettysr 

     

    If the issue does not persist wen you simply select the value in dropdown, check the browser Console for any JS errors.
    If the issue does not persist after you save and refresh the page, check the AEM logs for any error.

    Remember also if you recently did any AEM update or an ACS commons package update.

      Hi @tethich 

       

      I have tried all those and no errors in the console as well. 
      I can see this issue when I updated AEM SDK version to v2025.2.19586.20250218T200657Z-250100 for all dropdowns in content reports.

      Maybe you can try back with the previous AEM SDK version that work, to confirm that the issue is happening with the new version.

      Then try to see if you have any custom clientlibs that do something with those dropdowns and that could work differently with the new SDK.

      And in parallel maybe you can open a ticket to Adobe (if you are almost certain the issue is not within your project). Maybe you can check in a new fresh AEM instance, where your project was never deployed.

        @madishettysr Are you using an old version of ACS commons ? If yes, you can try upgrading to newer version and check if you still see the issue.

          Hi @harwinder-singh issue is not present in old version, it is present in new feb sdk version.

          The above suggestions dint help me in anyway, as of now I have resolved this issue using js.
