allowBlank for TouchUI

I've set the allowBlank to false on the field and now I can't left the text field empty when using the ClassicUI.

The problem is that I don't have the same behaviour in the TouchUI, specially using Inplace editing.

Is there a way to fix it? May I be missing any configuration?

What Touch UI field do you want to leave blank?

I want a text field (using RTE) to not be allowed to be left blank.

  Just in meetings where Touch enabled  RTE was discussed. Functionality is not on par with Classic yet. This may be one of those areas. I will investigate. Hopefully another member who has done this can confirm.
