After upgrade to SP 6.4.8.1 login/logout option is missing in CRX/DE

Hi all,

After our upgrade of envs from 6.4.6 to 6.4.8.1 we are missing the login/logout menu option.

Have anyone else has this issue?

We are able to login via system/console or any other normal auth process.

I suspect maybe something disappeared during removal of the software package button perhaps?

    Well that was a gotcha, not mentioned in the release notes. but ok, so What is the thought around login to crx/de in a publish instance?

    The login and logout buttons have been removed on purpose from CRXDE for security reasons (internal ID: GRANITE-27790). Back ported to AEM 6.5.5.0 as part NPR-33521.

login and then navigate to /crx/de

        After 6.5 upgrade , I also saw the log in option not available in CRX/DE .
