Where as I want below custom crops which are

  1. 16 : 9 and 9 : 16
  2. 5 : 2
  3. 3 : 1
  4. 2 : 3
  5. 1 : 1
  6. 4 : 4 and 5 : 4
  7. 21 : 9

Can anyone please help me how to enhance the crop for the videos, and also do dynamic Media support the above custom crops

Thanks

Hi @tushaar_srivastava ,

Dynamic Media does support custom video crops. Adobe only shows a few default crop sizes like 1:1 and 16:9, but you can easily add your own custom crop ratios. To do this, you need to create a Smart Crop Video Profile in AEM. Just go to Tools → Assets → Video Profiles, create a new Dynamic Media Smart Crop profile, and add your own crop sizes by entering custom width and height values. After that, apply this profile to your video folder. Dynamic Media will then automatically generate your custom video crops, including all ratios you asked for like 5:2, 3:1, 2:3, 4:4, 5:4, and 21:9. So yes, your custom aspect ratios are fully supported—you just need to configure them.

Thanks & Regards

Hi @tushaar_srivastava,

Adobe definitely allows custom aspect ratios. Everything can be configured as per business need. You can refer to this article for detailed steps: Responsive Imaging and Dynamic Media done Right — Part II | by Achim Koch | Medium
