AEM6.3 purpose of group in touch ui dialog

Hi ,

Could some one help me with providing info as what is the need of group option available on touch ui dialog.

The group is marked in yellow in below snapshot

Group

This allows you to select multiple components at once. The same can be achieved on a desktop device by a Control+Click or Command+Click .
