AEM simulators versus smart devices

Avatar

Level 9

Hi All,

We have implemented a WCM application which is available for end user to access it from both the desktop and smart devices. Will the simulators provide the same behaviour as smart device s like Tabs, ipods and smart mobile phones. Can someone suggest me,to test the functionalities do we really require the those devices or it's fine to test the functionalities using simulators itself.

Thanks In Advance

Cheers,
Kishore.

It depends on application and you might aware of limitations like preinstalled applications like camera etc will be missing. You can use simulators to simplify UI development, verify layout etc...  So to begin with test on simulators  But testing on real device is a must in my opinion.
