AEM Session is not being maintained on the non gated pages

I have few of the gated pages and few non gated pages in AEM 6.4.

 

I have logged into the Gated application and can see the login-token generated. On click of the logo on the gated application it should redirect to the non gated Index page. 

 

After clicking on the logo, I am not seeing the AEM session which is used to show the login information on the non gated pages.

 

Can you please suggest if I have to check any configurations

as far as I can see, this is not an issue, in-fact that is the actual functionality of the session.

as soon as you get out of your gated pages and visit an non-gated pages you session should expire and this is what happening.
