Session Q&A:

Question Answer
This question is for Q&A. Answers when you want. My question, does the AEM Site Optimizer work for only AEM sites or other sites (Commerce, Dreamweaver, .NET, or Java, etc.)? AEM Clouds only at this stage: AMS, CS with publish tier and EDS.
Is this service an adobe cloud solution? This solution is Saas - and for customers who are on one of our AEM Sites cloud-based deployments: AMS, CS with publish tier or EDS.
Is there any additional commercials involved for using this? yes it does involve a separate license - you can discuss with your account team
On what basis are the $ "values" calculated? Can a customer define/feed in actual numbers? Excellent question. For now this are computed out of Cost per Click estimates and Operation Telemetry data.

We would love to expand that through customer input and configuration. Looking forward to customer feedback.
when a fix is approved what happens in terms of deployment?
- is a dedicated branch created?
- how is the pipeline impacted?
- Is the change also reproduced in dev and stage or only in prod?
Thanks
We do not have automated PRs yet. We are able to automate prescriptive recommendations for CWV or accessibility issues, and currently work further on training the model underneath to ultimately generate PRs.

The flow will be adapted for the customer needs, but typically we never deploy an auto-optimization to prod without proper review and merge (also for content).
How does the code fix work with customer's own git? There is no code fix available in production as of today Rakesh, see my comment above. In the case of a customer own repo, we would need an authorized access to it.
What are different AEM (Sites/ EDS) deployment Site Optimizer supports? And will it work with any other non adobe digital properties too? All AEM Cloud deployments: AMS, CS with publish tier, EDS.

Not supporting 3rd party CMSes as of today. We want to focus on AEM customers first.
How do we navigate form AEM to Site optimizer? Hi Siva, Sites Optimizer is available directly from the Experience Cloud homepage to provisioned IMS organizations.
For Sites Optimizer integration with Edge Delivery Services, does this only work if content is authored via Universal Editor and stored in the JCR? Or does it also work with document-based authoring (Google, SharePoint, DA)? We have auto-optimization capabilities with Google and Sharepoint, also Crosswalk. DA not at this stage.
How are the values like Click rate, engagement value calculated. Does it use any analytics integration, or it stores these stats once enabled for a customer. It does not require a separate analytics integration. Sites Optimizer uses AEM Operational Telemetry. It's included for all AEM Sites Cloud deployments.
Do you see "diminishing returns" over time of using Site Optimizer? I would think that there are a lot of "suggestions" early on and less over time? We see that there are inevitably regressions and new opportunities that are introduced in Sites projects over time. No site or competitive landscape is static. Sites Optimizer ensures that as the site code or content changes or the brand's competitive landscape changes, the site will continue to be optimized for business impact.
Hi, for Alt Text do we get only English or site language specific variants Alt text suggestions will be in the language of the webpage the image.
Why would an authorized access is required to customer's own git if there's no automated code fix is available? The CWV agent needs to access  git repos in order to evaluate the implementation, identify what could be the issue that is causing regression, and provide suggestions to optimize. It cannot make the same level of suggestions on rendered markup because of minification, etc.
Will Site optimizer updates the Alt text in our custom AEM components Yes, for CS and AMS. It will update on the appropriate JCR node in the appropriate AEM component.
Is this available for the customers who are using aem on prem It works for AEM AMS, CS, and CS+EDS. It does not work with On-Prem implementations.
Hello team, many customer are currently using ContentSquare or Quamtum Metric to find a fix this issues? How can we differentiate from them ? Couple of key differentiators - we can offer highly prescriptive recommendations that also take into account your content, brand guidelines, and implementation details. We can also enable you to directly deploy fixes from the application, because we know where to write them within AEM or content within AEM. Other solutions can't do this today. Finally, we provide a holistic list of opportunities across many areas - SEO, content, security, conversion, etc
In case when site optimizer is enabled does it introduce js to pages to understand content engagement on the site? Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 38:55
Can you also talk about A/B test feature? Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 39:45
Can it be provisioned for sandbox environments as well? If so, what needs to be done to get it? Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 43:00
Are there potential extension points on the roadmap  e.g - ability to add additional tool use based on customer needs .  Will this be through agent orchestration as it was noted that Optimizer is leveraging AEP Agent Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 41:00
Could you clarify the license metric for Sites Optimizer .
The product description page it says is Content Request.  Is that CR for AEM Sites . How do the two co-relate given Optimizer is separate license
are there any generative actions limit, for auto-suggest and auto-optimise actions ?
Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 36:56
Do the A/B Test options require Target license? Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 38:23
will it cover all AEM approaches (Fullstack, headless and hybrid)? Please hear the answer during Q&A at the end of the recording at 41:00
will there be specific considerations for MSM We understand MSM setups can have specific expectations based on customers. In context of optimizing the website, we would love to hear more about a specific use case you have in mind and how we can partner to build & validate the appropriate flow. Please get in contact with us to discuss this further.
