AEM Email Marketing

Hi Everyone,

 

I am trying to do a POC on email marketing in AEM. I am trying to follow the below document:

My AEM version is 6.5.18. There is no default email newsletter template so i am trying to add my own template. I have extended the mcm/campaign/components/newsletter/page to create a template.

Using this i can create a newsletter but i am not able to add content to the email. 
Is this the correct approach? Any suggestions would be helpful!

 

With this template i am able to create a news letter but i am not getting an options to add components/contents to the email.
