AEM editor crash

Hello all,

I have install the quickstart version of AEM on a VM Windows 10 (no server version).

After a short time (about 10 or 20 minutes) some features stop working ( task creation and editor pages ). When i click on their button, a new page open but it never stop loading.

The rest of the application is still working. I can resolve this by shutdowning the program and restarting it.

Do you have any idea on how to resolve it ?

Thank you

Hi @cfayol

Few followup questions:

  1. Is this on any specific browser or on all browsers?
  2. Does this happen to all page or any specific page? Do you see anything in the error.log or in console when this happens?
  3. Which version of AEM (including service pack) you are using on the VM?

Thanks!

Hi @asutosh_jena_

1. I try only on Firefox and Edge and it doesn't work on both.

2. I don't have console on witch i can see some error log. (I just use the quickstart.jar file and all start alone).
3. This is the 6.5 version.

Hi @cfayol,

Could you please elaborate more on working and not working features.

Per the screenshot, we-retail page seems to be blank - Cross check if we-retail bundle is active by navigating to http://localhost:4502/system/console/bundles and also all other bundles in the instance.

If the problem is upon certain actions on the instance, request to elaborate on the same to narrow down.

Also confirm, if the problem is specific to layer/view (Edit/Preview/View as published)

hi @vijayalakshmi_s,

I couldn't acces to http://localhost:4502/system/console/bundles so i restart my quickstart programme. As you can see in the next screenshot, at 15:45 today, everything seems to be working well. I will keep you informed if some function stop working.
