Hi All,

Can multiple people work on AEM on the same page at the same time without causing issues or conflicts with the changes?

It would be very helpful if you can provide any adobe ref docs on the same.

Thanks!!

"It depends".

As there is a chance of conflicts, it is advised not do it.

Hi,

In AEM, it is possible for multiple people to work on the same page at the same time, but there is a potential risk of conflicts and issues with the changes. AEM provides a feature called "Locking" which allows users to lock a page or component while they are editing it, preventing other users from making conflicting changes. However, if two or more users attempt to edit the same content at the same time, conflicts can arise when they try to save their changes. In such cases, AEM provides a merge conflict resolution tool that allows users to manually resolve conflicts and merge their changes. Therefore, it is recommended that teams establish clear communication and coordination protocols to minimize the risk of conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration.
