AEM CFM RTE Copy/Paste Scrolls to Beginning Instead of Maintaining Scroll Position

Hello,

I am facing an issue with the Rich Text Editor (RTE) inside AEM Content Fragment Models (CFM). When copying and pasting text within the RTE, the cursor remains in the correct position, but the page scrolls to the beginning of the RTE instead of maintaining the current scroll position. This disrupts the user experience, requiring manual scrolling back to the editing area after each paste action.

Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Is there a known fix or workaround to prevent the unwanted scrolling?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @gunainbox 

 

I haven't faced this issue in AEM Cloud SDK versions.

 

Can you recheck if you're using below sling:resourceType  as dam/cfm/admin/components/authoring/contenteditor/multieditor for RTE in CFM fields

I haven't faced this issue in AEM Cloud SDK versions.

 

Can you recheck if you're using below sling:resourceType  as dam/cfm/admin/components/authoring/contenteditor/multieditor for RTE in CFM fields
