AEM Assets - Smart Tagging PDF files

I've set up the Smart Content service in the Adobe Developer Console and enabled "Smart Tag Assets Process" in our DAM Update Asset workflow. It's working great for image files (jpg, png, etc.) but not working on PDF assets. Is there another step to getting Adobe Sensei to work with PDF files? Thanks.

Smart Tags are only supported for assets that are images. Smart tags for PDFs are only supported for AEM as a Cloud Service.
