Hi Adobe Engineer,

Is this the right section to post questions on AEM reports? If not, can you please provide the right link?

Thanks,

Leena

Yes, download it from here and install it on your instance via package manager: https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons

Do look at the compatibility chart for your specific version of AEM.

Hi EstebanBustamante,

I have a stand-alone AEM 6.5 on-premise publish instance. No user agent or adaptive forms are used here.

The AEM instance is used only to render XDP templates as HTML5 forms .

My questions are as follows:

1. Currently there are 100 plus xpd templates uploaded to aem/forms.html/content/dam/formsanddocuments folder. Is there a way to generate a custom report that will automatically populate the list of these  XDP templates with their form title, last updated date, and keyword tags (that will help in search).

2. Can this report be available as a URL so it can be referenced as a hyperlink in any website?

3. What level of access needs to be provided to this report when it is available in a public facing website? How can the access level be configured?

4. Is there any documentation or tutorials available on this topic?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Hi Hi EstebanBustamante,

In the Reports section there is the 'Upload Report of Uploaded assests'. This pulls out the list of XDP templates in a folder with some details. When creating a report it allows me to add a column. How do I get this column to get the title value available in CRX under the form template's /jcr:content/metadata. This metadata folder has the name:value pair that contains this information e.g one of the properties under metadata is Name: title, Type: String, Value: actual title of the form.

What path needs to be given in the custom column to fetch the title property value?

Hello @aemuser001 ,

Have you had a chance to look at Report Builder: https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/report-builder/index.html

It allows the user to define columns and options to extend Report builder functionality.

Hi Preetpal,

I don't see the Report builder in the AEM instance.

Is acs-aem-commons a package that needs to be uploaded in crx/packmgr/index.jsp to use the Report Builder?

How to get a copy of this package?

Thanks,

Leena
