AEM 6.5 non-turnkey installation documentation

I would like to know what do I need to do to setup JBOSS besides unzipping the zip file.

I am new to AEM but I had ALC for a few years.

As noted to use JBOSS 7.1.4 has restricted support, so make sure you understand and accept ramifications.
