aem 6.5 cannot get activate workflow item

There is a node process step which I do not check handle advanced.When the workflow reaches this node, I am unable to see its activation status.And I go to jcr, I cannot see the node in the workflowItem node, there is nothing in the workflowItem node. Why? How can I fix this?

Hi @johann_lu 
You may need to enable the check for handle advanced.

 

I also tried same and could not see workitem node if Handler Advanced in unchecked but I tried with checked Handler Advanced and then could see the node

But my requirement is not to check Handler Advanced, is that a bug?
