AEM 6.4 - Replication & Distribution Tools

Dear All,

is there anyone that could better explain me what are the differences between the replication tool and the distribution tool.

As newbye I'm unable to understand these concepts.

Distribution: To synch the changes on one publish instance to all other publish instance as well as on author. User Synchronization

Replication: content from an author to a publish environment.Replication
