AEM 6.1 - Replication error in the logs

We are constantly getting following error in the log: 

20.11.2015 04:17:51.866 *ERROR* [pool-21-thread-4] com.day.cq.replication.impl.AgentConfigImpl Error while unprotecting password: com.adobe.granite.crypto.CryptoException: Cannot convert byte data
20.11.2015 04:18:21.866 *ERROR* [pool-21-thread-2] com.day.cq.replication.impl.AgentConfigImpl Error while unprotecting password: com.adobe.granite.crypto.CryptoException: Cannot convert byte data

 

Any pointers on the cause and how to resolve this?

When did these issues start? What changed in your system?

I came across this when someone added a customer added a cryptographic key for saml, which was not needed. Have you added any keys to your system?
