AEM 6.0 to 6.3 migration with hybris integration

Dear Experts,

Our application is running on AEM 6.0 SP3 that is enabled with AEM-hybris connector which is integrated with Hybris 5.5 server. The product catalog data is imported into AEM from Hybris using AEM-hybris connector. We have also made some customization on top of Out Of The Box connector to meet some specific business requirements.

We are now planning for migration to AEM 6.3 and hybris 6.3. We would like to know if the new connector, that we will upgrade to as part of this migration, is backward compatible. I would love to hear experiences from anyone of having done similar migrations.

Thanks & regards,
Veera

Thank you very much MC Stuff, this will help us to identify if the customization on the connector is effected or not. I will share findings here soon

Hi Veera,

Please share your experience whether you were able to upgrade hybris 6.3, because I have to also do the same kind of upgradation that is from hybris 5.4 to hybris 6.3 version but adobe is not providing support beyond hybris version 5.7.

What is the approach you followed?

Thanks,

Ashish
